Default Camo gun tape

What can I do to get the tape residue off of my gun? I think from shooting it the glue heated and stuck to the barrel pretty bad. Any suggestions?

Try mineral oil. I never did tape the barrel of my gun but it worked on getting the residue off of my wooden stock. I don't know why I bothered taping it in the first place, the turkeys never minded my plain old brown stock...

Try using a rag with WD40 and some powder solvent if you can't get a hold of mineral oil.

Mineral Oil or Petroleum Jelly takes any oil, grease and grime off hands too.
