i have never been turkey hunting but i would like to give it a try. how does it all work. like when u hunt them can u just bring a homemade spear and do it old fashion style or do u need guns and crossbows. personally id rather just have a duel with the turkey. him versus me and a sword..... or a battle axe
thanks in advanced

Heck why use a sword, why try a club, baseball bat, or just a plane stick. Oh, and be sure to have a buddy take some pics or better yet video tape, so we can see how silly you look! Oh by the way I hope your joking, because I am!!!

ok here my plan. my friend and i make a whole bunch of swords and spears, and throwing knives. we go to hick country and find us some turkeys. then the second we spot one we surround it and wait. then when the dumb tom least expects it the battle begins. i take the front with the spear and my friend goes in for the flank. the first spear is thrown and if my incredible aim misses the turkey will run into my friends sword. and CHOP. we got ourselves a turkey. not that bad eh?
thanks alot
