Default Double Glass and Triple Glass

Tell me, what is the real difference. I have a slate, alum, SLA-TRK and Power Crystal, do I really need a double or triple glass?

Crimedog,

Do you really need it? Probably not, all the calls you have currently will certainly call in a harvest gobblers, however, a glass call will be an added element in your already established arsenal. Perhaps that finicky bird will hammer to nothing else. You never know, I've seen it happen.....box, slate, mouth, etc...then glass..and baamm...here he comes. Check out the glass by www.rivervalleygamecalls.com . I believe it comes with two strikers making it an all weather call. I've used it in the rain with success with the acrylic or carbon striker as well as dry with the hickory striker.

Save your money and get a new striker or two, A striker will turn a Old friction call into a new one again.I have some info if interested...BT

I like them with Long Sharp Spurs....

my dad has a double glass and mine is a single i think...they both have the same sound to me....i love the sound of glass...nice and soft sounding...ive seen turkeys not respond to anything than dad hits his glass does a few soft purrs and some clucks or some soft yelps and bam there on there way...it has a totally diffrent sound from any other call...always nice to have...but i always carry tons of strikers like others said...
