Winchester 1300 ,NWTF short turkey gun
I am concidering this gun. I realize the 18" barrel is short for a turkey gun but in the picture, the extended tube looks to be about 2" long. Has anyone shot this gun. Does it pattern good to 40 yards or am I just dreaming about a light turkey gun. I got rid of my Remington super mag for 3 reasons. It was HEAVY-the cantiliver mount ate my finger up when I shot it and it didn't always eject 2 3/4" shells. Great shooting gun but need something light and 3" chamber. I can't handle thoes 3 1/2" turkey loads either. Don

Sometimes, very similar questions get asked over and over, that's probably why the lack of reply's on your post. It's not you!! Just trying to help you out!!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hey Don I own a Model 1300 Black shadow with the 22" barrel and love it it shoots great. I think the extra couple of inches deffinitly does help. Also it is the lightest gun that I own in my 30 gun collection. I bought a butler creek neoprene sling for it this fall and it felt like I had nothing on my shoulder when I was in the woods. I think you'll love it.
