Hey everyone. I was wondering when Turkey season is, I never hunted them before, and I plan on doing it with my 30# bow. I thought it was sometime in Spring, but im not certain. Thanks.

Check your home state DNR website for your turkey season! The main season is in the spring, but the fall season is quite popular as well!

I found a Turkey hunting area but I can't find thier regulations. But would a 38# bow be good enough for Turkey? Will it kill them easily? Thanks

I appreciate your help doc098, but I do not live in Texas. I was born there yes, but I live in Connecticut. And my 38# is a traditional bow, not a compound. This place I have found is perfect but they have complex regulations which I need to visit there place, just to check with them. I mean, I won't be hunting Turkey anytime soon, but I still want to prepare.

Depends on your state regulations as far as poundage goes...
Call a local pro shop, they will know!
