Default Pesticides and turkey eggs?

Doing some varmint control on a ginsing farm, stumbled on a hen with 9 eggs right in the middle of the ginsing. These eggs have been hit with some pretty tough chemicals..
Will that have any adverse affects on them?

Default RE: Pesticides and turkey eggs?

good question. i used to apply farm chemicals for a living and i can tell youi sprayed over the top of many duck nests.the nests i kept track of seemed to hatch ok if the predators didn't get to them first. the herbicides aren't nearly as harsh as the insecticides. it's not like the 'good old days' when DDT was being used.
