RE: Eggs
No doubt about it. They love to suck out turkey eggs and skunks will also do alot of nest raiding. But if you have good habitat and some good nesting features on your property you will have birds nesting successfully.

RE: Eggs
Alot of things can and will drop the hatch rate. Coons and other egg suckers are a good portion. I would think that if you had a high population of coons it sure ain' t going to help things. Get this issue of the Turkey & Turkey Hunting magazine. Lovett Williams had a great article on " How long do turkeys Live" . He also has had numerous other articles about hatch rates and predators which I find very informative. This issue he did discuss a little about predators and that " egg suckers" (my tern not his) do more damamge then yotes and bobcats. Also saw an article awhile back in Turkey Call about quail hatch rates. The number one killer of the quail was also egg suckers. (when it comes to predators, the main killer would be man and our growing need to have houses and malls everywhere you turn)
