A turkey hunting story
#1
It was the opening day of the Indiana season, my uncle did not do any good in the morning so he went back to the farm that afternoon. When he got there it was 3:30 and he was a tom and a hen way out in the feild. My uncle then decided to belly crawl to the bird. After going ower a hundred yards on hisbellyhe could hear the birds so he slowly stood up. When he stood upthe tom was breading the hen and when it was my uncle it took off. My uncle shot twice with the second shot hitting the tom. the bird weighed 27 lbs(it was big), had a 10" beard and 1 1/8" spurs. this was my uncles first bird
