Default Shot placement w/ broadhead

i've read where the corn dispenser shot is a pretty sure thing if you can take it but would like some opinions on other good bow shots that assure a retrieved bird. How about a broadside passthrough in the shoulder area? Forget headshotsw/guillitines because I don't want to go there.

The best shot I have used for a turkey with an arrow is broad side right at the base of the wing (where it attacches to the body). The going away shot is also good, right in the center of the back. If it is head on, aim at the base of the beard, this is a tough shot as they are normally looking in your dirrection and ou migh cut the beard as well with your hunting head. There are pictures somewhere to show points of impact, I do not have the link handy right now.

And if he's coming straight at you, aim for the top of the beard.
Also . . . there is a post called "Turkey Vitals" on page two. Check it out.
