Sorry guys, I was hoping for a big finish, but today my season ended. At least I got that jake on opening day. Last week, I called in a longbeard so close I probably could have grabbed him, he came in behind me and gobbled right in my ear, I mean within one yard. He started heading towards my dekes in full strut and I figured I'd take him when he stopped, but he kicked it into high gear and ran right past the dekes into the woods. Anyway, I have a somewhat low quality photo of the jake for you MichaelHunsucker. My daughter left my camera at her friends house out of state, so I had to borrow a POS for my first hunt. Anyway, congrats to all of you guys, you slammed some monster birds this season!
