Finally scored one for our team. This morning was a great morning in the woods and this bunch of gobblers were going nuts. 18 lbs. , 3/4" and 7/8" spurs with a 10 1/2 " beard. One more day for me to hunt.

I had to cancel my kansas trip at the last minute, after I had already bought my spring turkey tag. Oh well, I had a great spring filled with lots of memories and of course dead turkeys. To cure my fix for turkeys I ended up deep frying some illinois turkey last night. it definitely hit the spot!!

Team it looks like we had a great year and shoud have this contest in the bag. Good luck to anyone still hunting, I wish I was with you.

I'm glad pa sent me a PM. I didn't even know I had been assigned a team. I think he just waited til I stuck a longbeard personally At least I had something to bring to the party...even if it ain't no monster...least it put some more points on the board. This thing is like a swim meet...don't matter how many blue ribbons you win...you get points for every kid you put in the pool. More points we get....more better our chances are.

What do we get if we win anyway? pa gonna take us all out for pizza and ice cream?
