RE: Team 3 "Grave Diggers"
HT - Can we enter both of TNBowHuntr's birds, or just the higher scoring bird of the two?
WMA - if you're shooting 100 shots a week, you're shooting a whole lot more than I will be. I'm lucky to shoot 200-300 shots all summer combined. So, if you're not having any trouble, I'm sure that I won't. On the Milk River hunt - you only live once, bud. Might as well enjoy it. (I keep trying to convince myself to go away and hunt, but I'm still paying off my stupid wedding. [>:] The things we do for love... Hah) |
RE: Team 3 "Grave Diggers"
I'm pretty sure its one bird per person.. which is a shame but, when everyone elses seasons open up im sure we can find usa nice little can of "Whoop Ass" to open before the contest is over.

RE: Team 3 "Grave Diggers"
Yeah guys, it is one bird per person, however guys like me that shot a jake can redeem themselves by getting a bigger bird. A score can be changed by substituting the new bird if it scores better. So although my hunt this weekend has been canceled due to my wife going out of town, my trip next week still holds great promise. I'm taking 3 vacation days to hunt private land on tue, wed, and thur. I have hunted this property before and it holds a lot of nice birds. I'm hoping for at least 2 birds on this trip. One by smokepole and one by bow.

RE: Team 3 "Grave Diggers"

RE: Team 3 "Grave Diggers"
Little Fish and I started our Kentucky season yesterday. It was a wet one with rain starting Friday night. We sat in a blind from 11 am. to 5 pm and had one tom gobble. We did however see a total of 19 hens for the day and two to them are white. Hope everyone is having good luck cause Sunday morning found us with lite rain and 30 degrees. This is the first time I have hunted turkeys with winter gear on.
Good Hunting. |
RE: Team 3 "Grave Diggers"
So, did any of you women get anything this weekend, or are you guys just waiting for the PA guys to save the day and put this team on our backs? [8D]
