Good going ranchhand99! Nice to see that you have got the team started. If I've got everything stright,you should PM or emailme your birds score,and then "deerdust" will check in with me from time to time to get our scores and then he willpost them onthe team members thread.

Called one friend in his first bird at 10am yesterday.9 7/8" beard 3/4" spurs.Got mine yesterday evening.Today I called one in foranotherfriend.His was 17lb..10 3/4" beard..1 1/16"..1 1/8" spurs.Here aresome pics.I am in the second pic.All three birds are from public land.

I sure will need luck, take a look at my "TN Youth Turkey Hunt Trip" thread, and I mention a huge gobbler I saw, but he was henned up.[:@]
He might have a 10" beard, but who knows, I am going to try to kill him, and if I do,I'll be one happygunny!

Talondale checking in. Thanks for the email Cap'n. I was a little busy this month and the contest had slipped my mind. Our season doesn't open for a few more weeks but I usually have a good chance at some 10" bearded birds. Hope I can add to our score. I intend to mostly hunt with a recurve but will break out the shotgun when my friend comes up from GA 4/28 to hunt with me. We'll see how it goes.
