I have a buddy who shot a bird today. Went to go get it after he shot it, grabbed it by the legs and had a good hold on it. Well, he must have lost his grip and he got a sput right between his thumb and index fingers. He had to get 3 stiches. He's shot a lot of birds but still forgot to watch the spurs. O well, had a good laugh about it. It was a nice bird though, 20 pounds, 12 inch beard, 1 1/2 spurs.

Congrats to all who have got birds down!!! Friday was the start of youth season here and we let our son have a jip day from school and it worked out well, he put one down about an hour after light. The turkeys were going nuts gobbling like crazy and gave us a great show, it was a blast we all had a great time!! I cant wait for my turn. I would like to show you guys some pics of him with the bird but I cant seem to change the size of my pictures so I can upload the on the sight if any one can help I would appericate it.
