No bird for me... yet.
All the neighbouring fields are plowed and getting seeded so the birds are tearing them up, the fields I hunt are leased out to another farmer that hasn't been around yet. It pretty frustrating hearing the gobbling all around and not being able to move on them, especially with all the hens I've been seeing. I still have two more weekends to hunt, but the sundays are bow only so I really am starting to get worried. One thing for sure, I won't hold off for a big tom, 1st bearded bird gets it.

great! I guess he won't count for our score. Congrats on calling a nice bird. I'm going through post season depression. I sure am glad you guys are still in the field.
