way to go Angus and howler Sorry about the season ending for you Mobohunter mine has ended also but only because I am tagged out. I shot another bird in Idaho although it will not help the team it was 16 lb. 10 inch beard and 5/8 spurs I do not know why he was so light being that Ishot him on a cattle ranch with plenty of feed. This makes bird 4 for the year. How is our standings looking?

Got a Turkey! No pics yet, but will post as soon as I can. The bird had a 9.5" Beard, 24 Pounds and 1" spurs. Was walking along a fence line in a field and looked over to see a bird standing there behind a tree. I was less than 10 yards away when I shot. The turkey looked like it was confused with me carrying the hen decoy that I had in my hand. Happened right around time when the birds were flying down.

Don't tempt me Germ. Went out for lunch today and saw a nice longbeard all lonesome in a field by himself. If only our season was a week longer.

Here's how we stand today. If I've left anyone's birds off let me know. 11 out of 22 that are checked in have scored a bird. 50%, not too shabby.
