I'm hunting here in Alabama. Our season starts Thursday, March 15th. I'll do my part to help us out. I justtook a kid frommy churchon the youth hunt they offer the Saturday before the adult seaon. I called in a jake, but we couldn't get the big boy that was rattling the woods.
I wish everyone the best of luck, safe hunting, and God's blessing.
As far as a name....I don't really care, but I guess I like thunderstruck better than king of beards...but like I said, I don't really care. I can't really think of a better one.

I have to wait unitll April 25 to hunt, but I had no trouble tagging out with two toms last year.
We can't gun hunt on sundays so I'll be out there with the Mossberg on Saturdays and the compound bow on sundays.

JHB076 Checking in, I getting ready for the season here in Kansas on April 11th. Usually hunt on public land, but my father in-law just got permission to hunt some private land with crops and creek bottoms. He's been scouting and saw around 300 with in a mile or two. Some toms already strutting. Good luck.
