Insert the call, with the tape in the back, and the latex end forward, press to the top of your mouth, and put your tongue underneath, force the air over your tongue and below the call, to vibrate the latex, this is just the bare basics, but good luck!!

I put my toung up near my top teeth. I will change position if needed, but that is a good starting place.

The position of the call varies, depending on the pitch desired. The best thing to do try putting your tongue between the roof of your mouth and your teeth. Then just try to make some noise. After that, you can adjust your tongue pressure and location and discover the different sounds and pitches you can make. From there, it is trial and error.

Don't get so aggrevated that you give up on the mouth call. It is hard to learn, but once you get the hang...it isn't that bad. Just a word of encouragement, as the previous posts have great advice on getting started! Good luck!

I know my instructions gave keywords to use for the different types of noises you were going to immitate.

Cluck - say, "Plock"
Yelp - say, "Chaulk, chaulk, chaulk"
Cutting - say, "pot, pot, pot"
Purr - vibrate your vocal cords similar to gargling, vibrate your lips or flutter your tongue
Cackling - say, "kit kit, cat cat cat cat, chaulk chaulk chaulk"
Kee kee - say "pee pee pee"
Kee kee run - say, "pee pee, chaulk"

One thing to make sure of is that your call actually fits your mouth. I have bought four mouth calls and only one fits really good.
