Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

If you want the shot with a high velocity & price is no object get a Remington SP10! Now that is a turkey killer if I ever saw one!

I guess I am in the minority here. I love my 3 1/2 inch 12 and my 3 1/2 10 gauge. True it does get you when you are patterning the gun but when you are hunting I am happy with the pattern and so far I have not seen a change in the pattern, they have been consistant.

I don't want to give anyone the impression that I'm putting them down from using or shooting a 3 1/2" gun or shell.
It's just that I don't find it a very comfortable gun to shoot, and since I have had great success with using 2 3/4" and 3" turkey loads I don't see the need for me to go that route. I know that there are a lot of guys out there that shoot those guns and loads, and I think that's great. With all the different guns, loads, and chokes out there on the market, I'm not surprized to see that we all have our different views on what we all think is the best for us!!!
