shot one once with my 10ga. at 45 steps,but perfer them close enough to see their eyes blink,the sport of turkey hunting is to see how close you can get them to you.

We have Rattle Snakes, Skeeters, No Seeum's, Deer Flies, Black Widows, FL Panthersand some times Gators and it rains alot.We still are very patient and try to call them in close (15 to 25yrds).

Yep! Been lucky for the last 56yrs of turkey hunting and running hog dogs.

I stalked turkeys this weekend and killed one at 64 yards (rande finder). I thought they were a little closer than that. I ranged it after the shot. I used a Rem 11-87 supermag, 3 1/2", 2 oz of #4 shot. Worked pretty good.

I SHOOT A BENELLI PUMP WITH A SCOPE WITH 3 AND A HALF IN, WIN 4 SHOT SUPREMES,HS STRUTT UNDERTAKER CHOKE 24 IN BARREL. THE PAST 7 SEASONS OVER 5 STATES TAKEN 32 LONGBEARDSWITH THIS SET UP,NEVER BEEN HAPPIER WITH THE RESULTS.ALTHOUGH I WOULDNT RECOMMEND IT ,I DROPPED ONE AT 57 YARDS IN THE BIG TIMBER LIKE A ROCK. IF YOU HAVE NEVER TRIED A SHOTGUN SCOPE DONT KNOCK IT TILL YOU TRY IT ,UNBELIEVABLE RESULTS..MY 2 CENTS TOO. SHOOT TRUE ,,,THANKS,,,,,
