Missed....
I bought an extra 6th week tag here in WI and this mroning was the first day. Get out there and everythings lighting up, a few gobblers r gobblinand Ihere 2 hens 20 yards behind me, next thing I know i got a gobbler at about 50 yds. I wasn't calling because of the hens behind me but he was hung up. I yelped a lil and the hens and tom went nuts. He was gobblin and the hens were yelpin....1 flew down not 15 ft in front of me and here came the tom.....the hen was closng the distance to meand i decided she might bust me. By now the tom was about 35 yds. I decided to take a shot(35 yds is a lil long for me this would have been my2nd bird) and I thought he was down becuz he fell back and I got up and he flew away....MAN WAS I BUMMED after that i ended up seing 13 more birds and i guess it wasnt to bad of a morning.

If you're going shoot at turkeys long enough you'll eventually miss. It happens. Just keep after them. Sounds like you've got a lot of birds to work.

Well You aren't the first to miss and you definately won't be the last ,I won't tell yopu how may I've missed ,it's not something too many of want to talk about .
You keep at it and good thing's will happen ,but you may want to check out where your gun's shooting at 20 and 30 yrd's ,this will help you next time .
