Snow in South Dakota Black HIlls?
I'm headed out to the Black Hills (SD) this weekend. I heard they received about 5 feet of snow last week!! This almost sounds unreal, does anyone know how much they did get? How much is left?

They got 5ft plus and they are suppose to be getting more today. I know it isn't very good there and it will take some time to melt. If it does melt by this weekend it will be very muddy and will have to walk along ways to get in to where you want to hunt. Good luck

Depends on where you want to hunt. I just hcecked Custer where we were last week and they only had 5.6" in the big storm last week. It's been gone since the next day. I'd guess that if your in the southern half of the hills you'll be ok as long as they don't get hammered with the current snowfall they are receiving.
