What is the difference between the Aluminator and Aluminator 2?

What is the difference between the Aluminator and Aluminator 2?
I've read on here where people like the call, but only state Aluminator. BassPro only carries Aluminator 2, so I wondered what the difference is, if any.

I'm pretty sure the difference is the sound port locations,and the surface is anodized,instead of regular aluminum.It's supposed to be just as good as the aluminator.I had the original aluminator,and it was ok,but the aluminum was terrible about sticking to the striker tip.Maybe the new anodized surface is cleaner...Hope I helped.
