Default What's the best decoy set up?

Just wondering what's the best decoy set up. 2 hens or a gobbler and 1 hen, or a gobbler and 2 hens, etc.

Well, to answer this .....again......it depends on the birds. There is a time and place for both, but personally, I use 2 hens and NO jake. More often than not, in my experience, the jake scares them off. Now, if you manage to bring in the dominant bird.....it works well is SO MUCH FUN! But, for consistency, just use the hens.

My 2 cents. For what it's worth.

I like the decoy setup called the love triangle with is two jakes and a hen. Which work really well for me.

A lone Calley Morris hen is mighty deadly.
