RE: Official Team ThunderStrut (10) thread.
Hey, TeeJay's on my team, so even though he does shoot a Mathews, the teammate thing overpowers it.
Salt, your DL being 29" you could prolly cut your arrow to 28, maybe even 27. GO with a 3-49. TeeJay, yeah, they are expensive, I agree. But, have you ever shot the? I too used to shoot the Beman ICS Hunter and the ACC blows them away, IMO, but hey, I guess if your standard are low enough to shoot a Mathews...... :D:D :D:D j/k bro! |
RE: Official Team ThunderStrut (10) thread.
OOO No Mo you are gonna start something now. I thought you couldn't pick on him if he was the ONLY one on the team that shoots a matthews.:D:DThere has to be at least two so it doesn't seem like were biast and just picking on one person.;)Tee jay sorry buddy but things just happen its like a chevy and a ford you cant have both. RE: Official Team ThunderStrut (10) thread.
Come on ultimag I could make a bow out of a a tree branch and shoot stick arrows out of it and still hit something that small, cough cough I mean big.;) All I am sayin is if your lookin for accuracy. dependability and anything else you could possibly want in a bow look at Hoyt.
Once I try something I like I am like a walking bill board for the company. By the way just kiddin about the size of your elk. Nice animal I love how you gotta transport it on a trailer. I have always wanted to go elk hunting. Maybe some day. |
RE: Official Team ThunderStrut (10) thread.
he is only a 4x5 i have shot bigger you should have seen the monster with him got within 70 yds 3x but would not leave those 20 cows. That is the first elk i ever could load up whole usually i got a 2 mile pack on my back OUCH :):):)

RE: Official Team ThunderStrut (10) thread.
I have always wondered how you guys got them out. I have heard that you have to quarter them and carry them out in parts. Thats an awful lot of work. How on earth would you skin them. I have tried skinning deer on the ground and that is a chore in its self. How far was that elk from you when you shot. Did the arrow hit where you wanted it to, I promise no more mathews jokes. Tell us the story we need a change around here.
