Howdy my fellow jelly headers!! Well, I'm more of a wing puncher as I bow hunt only. My season opens April 24 and while I tragically lost one of my huntin buddies a week ago, I'm still gonna give 'er hell!!!!

I hunt in Central Missouri as well as Southern Missouri. I have access to incredibly good public land as well as a 1000 acre farm down south. I look very much forward to meeting ya'll and having some fun this spring!!

Sorry to hear about your hunting buddy I am sure he or she will be looking over your shoulder calling one in on astring I will be hunting Mt. Wy.and Id.starting April 8 and hunt all the way until the end of May I hunt both large public lands and some large private ranches I amm ready to go

YO MO whats up man we on the same team huh. Well look out cause these northern birds are going to crumble up here in MN! We have 3 huge toms that have been roosting out in our gravel pit since last fall. I see them all the time, so in May I hope to shove a Beeman through one of them. This year I am going to have some helpers tho, my g/friend and 10 yr old son both drew so I am hoping that we can smoke all 3 of the stooges in the pit!:D

Sorry to here of your loose.

I am from NW Ohio , our season runs between Apr 24 and May 21 .

I hunt on our farm and several around my house .
I also take a few days and head to SE Ohio to several farms I have permission to hunt there .

I got a new inline Austin & Halleck 12 gau muzzelloading shotgun that I plan on using for at least 1 bird .
It shoots as good of groups as the Remington 11/87 I normaly use .
Just 1 shot , so I better make it good .

Hey guys. I feel sorry for the turkey that wakes up opening morning in missouri. Poor thing won't know what hit him. I really can't wait to get back out there, I hate it when deer season ends and I have nothing else to do. Good luck guys and lets show these other guys how we get it done. GET ER DONE. I was thinking of trying one with a bow but I had such a hard time last year. I would like to take one with a bow and shotgun but I would be happy with just one bird. Last year I was just walking thru the woods and walked up to within 30 yards of 5 of them. # jake 2 hens. I was in my orange ( be safe out there and wear your orange ) and didn't even spook them. I ended up getting one of the jakes. I think it was alot of work for the small amount of meat I got.

I( hunt with traditional archery equipment here in kansas it starts april 12 and the turkeys are ready to be stuck,

Welcome aboard ya'll!!! Thanks for checking in, I truely appreciate it. Looks like we still have 7 we need to meet, so let's keep our eyes open and welcome them when they show up. I can't wait!! This is just gonna be some good old fashioned fun right here!!!

Well MO you started the thread so you get my vote for El Capiton, you know our so call it leader. So, now for a name.....hmmmmm....how about Team 10 the 10 gauge tom bustas. I know pretty lame help me out here poeple, I have been sick with a 101+ temp since Monday my brain is on vacation!

Wow, thanks for the nomination! I'll gladly do it if everyone else agrees. That's a decent name....let's put a list together and when everyone checks on we can have a vote of sorts. I thought of:

Here is another thought, beeing alot of seem to be into archery for the wise ol' buzzards. Maybe something like.....heck I dont know but something to do with archery.:D

i hunt biggame with my bow but mostly shotgun for turkeys since we have both types of hunters here how about Nock and Load Beard Busters or Nock and Load Gobbler Getters?

Go ahead and work something up. That's appreciated very much! Justin has yet to turn on the sig pic feature from the fiasco a couple of months ago. I have spoken to one of the mods and he's bringing it up to see if Justin will graciously turn on this feature. If you would, keep the name flexible for now. I also like Nock and Load Beard Busters, but we still have some guys to either check in or be assigned alternates for. I guess before I just start doing it, when these other guys check in we need to finalize a captain too.

I am getting a good feeling about this. We have an enthusiastic group here, and if nothing else......We are gonna have a blast!!

Sorry guys. I'm here. Glad to be a part of it this year.

I liveand hunt in Western PA. Looking forward to the start of the season. I'll be in Florida for the opening week but that will give all the weekend warriors their shot to get out there and be done for the season.

Most of my hunting is within a few miles of the house, an hour or so a few mornings each week before work. Just saw a nice flock of hens thru the backyard this am. Oddly enough, not one Gobbler in the bunch.

By the way, our season starts April 29th and continues thru May 27th.

As for a team name, I'm open for anything, but one did come to mind.

Ok, so we are still waiting on OntElk and solocamshooter1. I suppose I'll give them till the end of the week to check in and if they don't I'll request 2 alternates, if that sounds fair to ya'll.
