Oneshot buddy I think your right.lol just hang in there. I really don't think that there is much of a difference with todays bows. They all have to compete with each other so they have to produce some comparable models to stay competitive. It aint the bow its the shooter. You could give the best bow to someone and if they cant shoot it thats it they just cant shoot it. I was able to shoot 2 inch groups at 30 yards with a bow that is older than me. I bought a new one cause I wanted newer technology and because i wanted a higher letoff percentage.

Guys, it's like this. I act here like I act in life. I have several friends that shoot a Mathews, and I give them just as much trouble if not more. I mean, hey.....it's better than a Mossberg......;):D[&:]

Mo you don't like mossberg. I turkey hunt with one and I like mine alot. Good american craftsmanship. Also you drive a what a ranger you must like working on your truck on the weekends rather than hunting.:DI will let you slide this time cause you are good guy and I drive arangeralso. I am hoping you aging gentlemen can't read what I just typed without glasses. If you cant read it it just says the county in which I hunt. ;)

i would have shot that big 6x6 (350 class) if i was toting a hoyt I give my hunting buddy crap also he shoots a Bowtec. Anyhow that bull was 30 yds, he was bugling just over the rise in a huge open park, going crazy,the whole time the big boy was going nuts also. I was cow calling but he would not come any closer i could not see him at this point so i decided to crawl to yhe next tree about 40 yds. I am about 10yds from the tree there he comes and i am in the open i think iam busted but the wind is in my favor. I put my bow over my face and act like a bush he moves closer at 30 yds he stares directly at me and bugles right in my face. Then he turns his head i draw whack beautiful shot he goes 50 yds goes down gets up goes to the nearest tree and falls over. adrenaline pumping the whole time.Where he fell was 200 yds down hill to my dads neighboring ranchers end of his road and he let me drive in and get him. I shot him on public ground.

ultimag, that's an awesome story! I can't even imagine having one that close and bugling. Heck, I've never even hunted elk before.

salt, I've been driving my Ranger for 11 years, and other than brakes, plugs and things of that nature....it's never been in the shop. At almost 160,000 miles, I have had absolutely no trouble with it at all.And it's a good thing, because I could no more work on a new vehicle than I could the space shuttle. Now, give me an old Chevy 350.....that's another story.

QTompkins, glad to have you on board. And yes, this is most certainly the nut house. I can't control them anymore. If someone don't shoot a turkey gobbla soon......I don't know what's gonna happen. :D

I wonder if store bought turkey counts? Who would need to know anyway? I here ya Mo I bought my ranger for fuel economy. So far I have had to put some work into it but no to bad. And what do you mean you cant control us anymore ha you never could:Dwe're carazy people. We are so crazy the nut house probably wouldn't take us.:D
