I just got the jake one today at bass pro. i was wondering if it is a good call or did i just waste my money and how many gobbles in a row do you do like 1 or 2 etc... thanks

I'm sure it will work fine in the right situation

The first time I used mine, I immediately had someone by the road cutting up a storm on land he wasn't supposed to be on. I haven't used it much since...

I have one and it works good for me in the right situations. I dont use it as a locator just to try tobring one thats hung up in as a last effortand only gobble once or twice.

I gobbled my best one in last year.
Never heard a gobble off the limb.Watched him fly down then leave with hens.
I gobbled in his strut area after he left and three different birds started up.

A good call when used at the right time.

I used the jake shaker and had good results.

i'm not sure about how well they work but i definately wouldn't use it on public land or anywhere other hunters were hunting.

My dad bought me one from H.S. Strut...I took it back it sounded horrible. I have heard and seen the Primos call in action it worked pretty good.
