Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

I have a Remington Express 870 Magnum 3"
I had a Modified choke but bought a Extra Super Full Remington Choke and I can have a tight group at 40 yards easly and have got a turkey at 60 yards no problem. Every guns diff but My best hunting buddy has same set up and has gotten a turkey at 60 yards also.
I use Winchester H.V Supreme (black shells) #4's. But I have tried out the Winchester Extended Range and had a tighter group at 60. So I easly think I can get a turkey at 80. I wouldn't tho unless it was a super tough situation. I prefer them up close at 40-30 yards but thats a awsome set up I have found for my gun

I have a remington 870 3'' and it shoots good out to 45 yards with every choke I've shoot with. I've shot every load from the remingon nitro to the nito company 4x5x7 hevy shot and basically every load will kill aturkey out to 45 yards.I've shot them through the factory remington choke, jellyhead, rhino, true gold, and hastings. The rhinowith winchester high velocity #4's works best for me other than the $7 a piece nitro company, they are just to expensive. As far as shooting turkeys at 80 yards you will wound more than you will kill 4',5's,6's just don't carry enough energy to consistently kill turkeys at 80 yards, yes I'm sure people have done it but if you are going to shoot them at 80 yards you should be using a rifle and whereI'm from that's not legal.
