I use an owl hooter while their on the roost. Then after sun up I use a crow call.

At every place that I've hunted here in South Carolina at every time of the day, the Owl kicks the crow calls hands down.

I've used the crow and got no responses, pulled out my hooter and had three turkeys gobble.

Even in "natural" situations, I've never really heard turkeys gobble to crows like they do to owls. I rarely even take my crow call with me anymore.

Being from the same area as froman, I would disagree and say a crow call ALL THE WAY!! They both work good though..

I've used an owl call and acrow call and belive it or not the turkey gobbled back to the owl call

peacock,coyote howler,goose call, owlhoot around here crow calls do not work seems like the shock calls vary from area too area take em along and see what works in your area

crow call first and if that doesn't work i try coyote or goose calls

they both work just the same to me where i hunt except on public land then i use somethin different .like howler peacock or rooster .

I personally only use a crow.....
