Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

all of the above makes for sound advice especialy the part about going out the first time with somebody that has hunted turkey before. when it comes to turkey calls sit and practice with them every spare moment that you can. dont forget to spend some time at the range getting familer with that shot gun and finding a pattern that is best for you and your gun. last but not least....have fun while you are doing it

New to turkey hunting also. I have done the research, praticed the calls, and am ready to go. But I have one question. What the hell do I do if I bag a turkey. I mean where can I find info on how to process a turkey, ways of preparing and cooking that sort of thing. Thanks for all the info.

spring hunting the toms are looking to get with the hens and the toms are the only option for shooting. that is where your calls and decoys come in handy. now fall is open to hens and toms and you use more locator calls than actual calling to locate the birds. hope that helped a little have fun and good luck best sport out there!!!
