Default Benelli Nova question?

I've got a Benelli Nova during patterning when I load just a single shot in the chamber, it won't eject fully...Any ideas why it does this?
I've been shooting boxes of 3 1/2" Winchesters and it does it every time....

I just got off the phone with Benelli and they said that it's most likely just a new gun querk, the metal against metal hasn't set itself yet...Has anybody else experienced this problem?

Allseasonhunter7 thanks for the input.

Just a side note to allseasonhunter 7:
St. Paddy's day up there in the 'burn at Curly's is legendary.

No, I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere. My guess is Benelli was jerking your chain to get you off the phone.

I'm honestly baffled. The only thing I did was tighten the 'slop' out of the forearm when I got it. I figured that was it, but I loosened them and it's still the same....any ideas are welcome.

After complete and utter frustration I decided to take apart the gun. Upon my inspection I discovered that there was NO EJECTOR ASSEMBLY. I couldn't believe it!! I searched through the boxes it came in, and there was the entire assembly stuck underneath the folds of the bottom of the box...I installed it and it's working perfectly....

Thanks to all that replyed...
