ive read some good things about Partridge Run WMA in Albany county, ny. wanted to know if anyone has hunted there or heard anything about it. thanks guys.

Seems like most of the guys on this forum hunt mostly private land I'm sure that place is like any public land it gets hammered. I call local DNR and ask them about turkey population/hunting pressure

yea it seems that way to me too. but unfortunatly i havent gained access to private land. hopefully for next season i will. what exactly is DNR?

Their is a good amount of birds there.Not too many people hunting it either.I only hunt a small sectionof it and have had good action,it's a big place.Even scoring in he fall.If you want to check it out together, I'm 40 minutes drive to it.Let me know.

its a VERY overlooked resource. not much pressure at all, especially mid-week. worth a look. and, bring your fishing rod....(shhhh)!
