I gues I need to wait longer.
I just wanted to make sure the cam was pointed in the right direction.
That means junk camera.
Quality cams in the $200-300 range only go off when something is in front of it.

I check my cams ( 2 Cudde Captures and a Scoutguard) about every 2-3weeks and have maybe 4-6 pics per cam of nothing out of about 750 pics.
Tree branches or grass won't set them off.
Quality cams or worth the money.

They sure will set off my prowler and I paid good money for that cam.. The trail cams are set off by movement at least mine are.. That includes any movement whether from wind blowing branches or grass. As long as it spots movement it has been triggered. It does not matter what moves animal, grass, and or branches..

Sounds like you have be getting pics and video's from tree limbs or weeds triggering the camera. After putting your cam on the tree always check for limbs/weeds and clear them from the front of the camera. I try to place mind about 3-4 feet high depending on the grade of the land. If your cam has a test feature use it to determine how high to set the cam. Just remember to stoop down to about the height of a deer when checking it. You also may have the cam pointed toward the sun which will also trigger the cam so try to avoid aiming toward the sun. If it is legal to bait get you some corn and placed the camera over it. Hope this helped, Bob

It was pointed toward the sun, I was thinking that might be it.
I opened the cam to swap out the SD card, and it was in direct sun light, and was going off like crazy.
I have moved it to a different angle, and removed every thing that the wind could blow around.
I have some Deercane poured out in front of the camera, and something has been digging in it.
No tracks, so I don't know whats been digging it up.
Here is what the Deercane looks like.

The camera had 2 jpegs ( night pics ), and 238 - 14 sec videos ( all day time videos ).
I will see what happens now.

probably oughta get a new cam..10 pics is not enough fer 2 weeks. if the tree's and stuff moving wont set it off, its very possible things are walkin right by your cam, and not gettin snapped

It is about 15 to 20 ft from a trail.
Theres deer droppings, from 20 ft to 40 foot from the spot.
It's about 100 yards from where they cross the road.
I have see them cross before, so I know they are there.
It may be I have been checking it to soon.
I will waite a few days and check it again.
Hopefully it will do better.
