Sounds like you have be getting pics and video's from tree limbs or weeds triggering the camera. After putting your cam on the tree always check for limbs/weeds and clear them from the front of the camera. I try to place mind about 3-4 feet high depending on the grade of the land. If your cam has a test feature use it to determine how high to set the cam. Just remember to stoop down to about the height of a deer when checking it. You also may have the cam pointed toward the sun which will also trigger the cam so try to avoid aiming toward the sun. If it is legal to bait get you some corn and placed the camera over it.
