I just bought one today. What can I expect from this camera?

My personal opinion of the IR pics i've seen so far are very grainy.
Day time pics seemed pretty good but those IR pics, I was not impressed.

Got one for Christmas...the IR pics are grainy(pretty bad)..Daytime are awesome....I like the camera but I wish I had the flash version now!

This has nothing to do with quality of the IR picture being taken.

I like mine...

pics aren't the absolute greatest but it does the job... you can see the deer and its antlers why not having a flash boom out on your deer

give me your email I got some...I think the pics are grainy because the pixel count in daytime is 3.1MP and at night with IR it is lower(1.3MP)...That is why it is such a cheap camera...Lower IR pixel count...It does a great job just not a quality photo in IR....If you want the better photo get something with a higher pixel count in IR.....

I have to agree and here are some examples of the IR I have. I am getting a Scout Guard for my next camera.








The see the IR, I have 7 pictures of this deer. This is her closes to the camera, she walked right up to it.

Man, the IR is horrible.... The day time pics look alright. Germ, im with you, Scoutgaurd here I come when I can afford another camera.
