this happens every year around this time of year.As someone said the acorns are starting to fall good and the deer follow this pattern every year that there are acorns on the ground.I have collected and piled up acorns and such, just to realize that I was making every critter in the woods come to them except the deer.Just move your camera to a natural funnel or main travel route and control your scent set your camera and get out of there and stay out for several weeks, and you will probably have pictures of deer and other animals that you have never saw on your bait, and it will help you pattern them under natural conditions, granted you will get a lot more pictures over bait I always have, but when I started setting them on trails near bedding areas and such,I started getting daytime pics of bucks that only showed up on bait well after dark.If nothing else put it on an oak tree that has a bunch of tracks under it and you will get pics of deer feeding naturally and know what time they are coming out!

umm becasue patterns change the deer will not show up in the same area all the time especially now when they are marking their terrioty and such. or it could be that the bait you may be using they no longer will be eating.
