Not always about just the trigger speed (but is a key feature) you have to look at the quality of the pics too. Most of the time you are going to pay for quality and that's why more expensive cameras are better.

Cuddeback is faster than Leaf River, Moultrie, and Stealth Cam. Also, the pic quality is awsome.

I've tested Cuddeback, Moultrie, Stealth, Leaf River, Talon, Widlview, Camtrakker, Bushnell and Predator along with several homebrew style trail cameras, over 20 trail cameras total and the Predator is the fastest so far.

I know that the question is about trigger speed alone, but please don't let trigger speed be the only determining factor when you select a digital trail camera.

Exactly.....don't just look at trigger speed! Thanks for proving my point!

Quality pics are only important, IMO, if you are going to put your pics in a magazine or something. I think most people forget thre reason they get a game cam is to see what is on the property and when it is thier! So to me I would rather sacrafice a little in pic quality and get the cam that actually captures every critter that passes by so I can better plan were and when I want to hunt an area.

What do you guys think?
