Default Local Monster Possibly Dead

The big buck that i have been chasing since summer of 2004 might be dead. I got word from akid at schooltoday that his dad shot a huge 13 point last year during bow season less than a mile from my house. He has yet to show me pictures, but untill then im going to assume him a goner. I guess theresmore deer in the woods though.....

Last picture i got of him:

I know how ya feel I watched a big boy for 4yrs in a posted property he never came over to my property. All summer I put out sugar beets, apples, you name it but he never came over when the season opened he never got within 500 yards of the fence line. I kept a eye open for about a wk or more he was gone one day I happened to stop at the local taxidermy shop and there he was took down by a DODGE NEON no joke. Can,t remeber what he scored but the taxy said he was the biggest he,d seen in 30 yrs for a local deer.

well.....i havnt seen the pictures yet, but from the kids description he gave me the one his dad shot was a different buck. He said the buck had 7 or 8 little stickers and the rack and a busted brow tine, which obviosly isnt the deer i have pictures of.

AND, i was talking to my neighbor tonight and he said that he's been seeing a huge buck travelling in the funnel next to his house. I naturally showed him the 13 pointer and he said it looks very similiar in character.....so who knows, maybe he is alive. Me and my brother set a blind up thier this evening and we will be their in the morning.
