Default Moultrie Gamespy I-40 ????

I was thinking of buying one of these, does anybody have one? Any infogood or bad would be great. From reading the add i'm really liking the battery life. I currently have the cheapo moultrie and the batteries die after 4 days or so. I just checked it and had 200 plus pics and the batteries were dead. Would this model be much better in that aspect and others, like; trigger speed??

Thanks for any personal information!

I have the I-40 & the I-60. Battery life is very, very good. Trigger speed is very good as well. Depending on where the camera is placed ( shade vs. sun ) you will get whiteout AND daytime IR pics. The more sunlight there is on the cams, the more colored pics you get. The colored pics are very good. I really like the nightime IR pics as well. They're crisp & the IR emiters really put out the light. Go to www.Chasingame.com reivews & forums to gather more info.

how bad or how often are the whiteouts? On my cheapos i would get them often if i had the auto flash on, but when i would turn it off i don't get them. The downside is no night time pics....frustrating. Do the moultrie have more whiteouts compared to other brands? Am i better off getting another cam? I read some of the reviews on chasingame the I40 seemed to have a very good review.

Thanks!

The whiteouts on these new Moultires can be a pain for some. If you plan on having the cam set up down in the woods where's theres lots of shade, you will get whiteouts. These cams have a 1-2 or 3 shot mode that allows pics to be taken 10 seconds apart. Chances are, the 1st may be a whiteout & the other two will be ok, but they may be in IR just the same.In the sunlight, this really doesn't happen. THERE is suppose to be a downloadable " fix " coming soon from Moultrie that willhopefully correct this issue..... time will tell. Still, this is a really good cam. Like I said, go to chasingame, read the reviews, read the forums & decide for yourself. I get whitouts too, yet each time I do check ( once a week ) I have over 100 pics & I'm quite happy with what my cams have to show me. I sound like a salesman ...lol, but out of my Cudde, Bushnells & Leaf River, these Moultries are the best preformers over all.
