I was just about to put my trail camera back out yesterday and I ran its little diagnostic test and when it went to flash it didn't and told me error 020000 or somthing to that effect.
Has anyone had this problem before?
Is the bulb burnt out, some wiring problem, or something else?
What do ya think?

i have one of the moultrie i40 cameras and i did a test, it said the same thing error 20000. i called moultrie the other day and they told me error 20000 means that my flash is not working, which is not true because i get excellent night pictures. so im gonna run it till it dies if that happens. moultrie is going to put all the codes on there website and what they mean. they are going to send me a copy by mail too.

I just checked mine to see if the flash still works any way, But of course it doesnt. it doesnt even seem to take pictures at all, inthe dark or thelight. I e-mailed somone at moultrie and they just said to call em.I guess I'll have to do that tomorrow. I'm assuming they arent open on sunday.
Ill let you all know what happens.

That happens sometimes with that model. It will probably have to go back for reprograming. I had one do that and I put it on no flash and it took daytime pictures great. If you download the manual from Moultrie it shoudl tell waht the codes mean.

I was thinking of getting the gamespy 3.1. Redhead has it for 79.88 in their new catalog. I told my father inlaw that I would get on here and see if people thought it was decent cam for the price, maybe get a couple of them. anyone have a pic they can post from it? Thanks guys!

I had this error also. Camera wasn't flashing (I-40). Moultrie first had me cover the day/nite sensor during diagnostic test, they said this should fix it. It didn't. On my second call to Moultrie, one of the technicians said "send it back to Cabela's, oh wait, have you tried the download? I hadn't. Go to their website, look up your camera, find the software update link, download it (follow their instructions). Even though I had the latest software version, after reloading it, and then powering down, Whallaa! it worked! Just a reboot I guess, anyway better than sending it back. Hope this helps someone.
