Remember you pay for what you get. You might say, you are looking for value in the money you do spend, not I don't want to spend a lot and get something that isgood. Most of the time cheap and gooddon't do welltogether. Look through the forum this topic comes up enoughby every newbie.Actually, here arethe links.

Thanks t oaks
I read some of those earlier but some i didn't see. I got the idea that the new ones this summer were going to be the better sounding deal. I was wondering how close stuff has to be to trigger and to get a viewable picture of. Some water holes are 60 yards across. some bigger.

The one second or less should be great for trails. Watering holesyou should not need the triggerspead to take the picture if they are stopping buy to take a drink. The cameras do havemax distance they will trigger.Sixty yards away the cameraswon'ttrigger though.

I have never reallytried to max outthe distance awayfrom the camera and still triggger it.I willcheck and see someof mytrail camerapictures thatlook far away.

My favorite trail cams of the dozen that I have owned are the Cam Trakker #1, the Cuddeback Expert #2 and the Leaf River #3.
