Default 2007 Models vs. Cheap 2006 models?

Well, after getting a camera stolen, I'm trying to decide if I should wait until the 2007 cameras start coming out or if I should try to pickup a 2006 model on the cheap.

On ebay right now there is a Moultrie Gamespy 200 with rechargeable 6v battery, wall charger and solar panel for $167.94 including shipping on a buy it now.

Will they get even cheaper as the 2007's get closer to coming out?

Thanks, Nathan

I think they would have too. I would wait it out in my opinion.

i was thinking the same thing, i think i am goin to go ahead and but the moultrie 4.1 MP cause $150 isn't bad for it. If you have the money, i would suggest to go out and get one now. you can get it set up sooner and see what potential is in your area this year and pattern where the deer are, and arn't

The old ones will drop for sure (I would assume). I also hear that the new Moultrie cams are supose to be a major step up for around the same price as the 06 models.

I couldn't resist. I bought another Moultrie Gamespy 200 with solar charger, 6v rechargeable battery and a regular charger for $160 including shipping off ebay.

He has several left - here is a link - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=017&sspagename=S TRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=27010888349 6&rd=1&rd=1

I made an offer of $147.05 which got me to the even $160.00 including shipping and he took it. Maybe I should have tried a little lower!

I will probably always have a couple spots where the slow trigger time won't be a factor and the awesome thing about that setup in Texas you can set it up and not have to mess with it for months if you can resist looking at the pictures for that long!

I might buy a couple of the new ones when they come out and try them on some trails where the trigger time will matter.
