Default converting from 35mm-digital

I was wondering if anyone has taken a 35mm camtrakker, and coverted it to digital?
If so are there kits available, reasonably priced?

I asked this same question on another forum where they regularly make their own game cameras from scratch and they said it really can't be done. About the only thing you could reuse would be the case.

The control board which runs the camera for a digital and 35mm would have two different timings. That is, the 35mm would have the timing set to optimize the speed for that camera and the control board for digital cameras usually have a slower timing to allow the digital to focus, charge flash ect.

It would probually be not worth your wile to try and do the conversion, just start from scratch and build your own.

I e-mailed camtrakker, and they said they have a trade in deal going right now.
You trade in your 35mm for their digitals and get a percentage off.
To me, it really doesn't seem worth it, seeing how the cameras still work well, just have to develop film.
