I think you will only see that buck at night or if he is rutting, just as the sun goes down.

the neighboring farmer has seen him in daylight. I get a lot of pics of big bucks at night. my property is about 50% swamp. so they might pass 15 yards from me and and i wont even see them

I agree, that is awesome, management definitely works. Do you pass a lot of smaller bucks? I have a couple bucks around my farm that I have pics of year to year, and they have grown a lot! It is awesome to see them from year to year and see how much horn they can out on from one set of antlers to another. I have one that I have pics of in 04,05, and 06, He went from a 120 class in 04 to a huge NT in 06, but the only daytime pics Ive ever got of him is during sumer in velvet. Also another nice buck with a weak side on his rack, I have him in 05 as a year and a half old, and in 06 with a much bigger rack, but only 7 points, but he has a monster body on him, his body is bigger than the NT which is at least 4 1/2 years old. Nice pics there, post some more of your big buck pics, We love looking at the big uns...lol

Wow!! Where are you hunting?? 160 or better,, thats some will power. I wont shoot below a 125 class with my bow, and try to stay above 130s with a gun. It is starting to work for me, maybe after a few more truly big bucks are around here my standards will raise more, they are already higher than most of the people hunting in the area,, but thats part of the problem with management, they are likely to get shot if they jump the fence.
