It seems that the lower that batteries get on my cams thefewer pics they take. Do others find the same thing happening? Happening now both on my Cuddeback Excite & Bushnell Trail Sentry.

When my battery get'slow my Cuddy just starts snapping pics until the batteries are completely dead. When this happens there are no deer in the photo. I suggest to always use the best batteries and change them frequently when it is cold out.

my Cudde Excite actually says "batt. failed". but then I turn it off and back on, it will show batt level 1 and take some more pics (only a few though). last time it did this 3-4 times before totally dead. My Bushnell was taking 25-70 pics every 2-4 days but now is only getting a couple in same time period. I just figured that the batteries were starting to die.

I've had cameras take many extra picture and some cameras take fewer pictures when the batteries get low. I even had them quit taking pictures and then start again a couple of days later, which probably was influenced by the temperature as well as low battery power.

Yes, the low battery and temp. both affect the number of pictures taken. I find that it takes alot more pics when it is fairly warm, and it has a full battery. I have seen ours not take any pics with a low battery.
