Default batteries for I40

Hey just wondered about rechargeables for the I40, is it worth it to spend the extra money for them? Also I know depending on where it is obviously determines how long you'd leave em out, but what is the average time? thanks Gerard

I use Energizers and have over 5,000 pics on the current set that has been up for over a month and still have 83% battery left.

my third set is finally going down hill now at 65%, had the camera for 16 months and had thousand of photos, just use regular old duracells in it, I would like to mention that it spent all winter out running too in northern mn. I don't care if some may not believe this I do and no it too be true, it has not spent more than a week indoors since I have owned it.

The 2 to 3 weeks mine has been up and im at 91% battery life. I dont have a ton of pictures on it yet but I am still impressed with the battery life. I use regular Duracell batteries.

I use the 12V stealth rechageable battery pack. Walmart online for 29.99 and it plugs right into the bottom of the I40!

I just use Duracells and they last for months. I doubt it would be worth it to get rechargeables.

Yeah just go with regular cells. They seem to last for months in my camera.
