I have 2 Wildview II and a Wildview 3. I have been very happy with the II models and just recently put up the WV 3. Can't beat them for the price. As far as rechargeable battreies, you can get a Stealth 12V battery pack (~$40). They work in the Wildviews. I have had my new pack going for 5 + weeks (however not many pics over that timeframe). I have an older pack that doens't last much more than1-2 weeks also. Individual recheargeble batteries will only last a day or 2.

I have had my xtreme 3 for about 3 months. It has taken some good pics and I have been happy with it. I like how light weight and compact it is compared to some of the other cameras. I did have some trouble using the SD cards in it. I sent Wildview an email and they quickly responded with a few sugestions. I ended up formating the card per the manual and so far it seems to be working fine.
