I just can't seem to stop buying game cams. I have a 1.3 MP Cudderback (like it). I did return my Stealth Cams (garbage, for most part). When I returned the Stealth, i used the money to get a Cuddeback Excite (not overly impressed). I then tried a Wildview1.3 MP cam (like it). Now I have 2 of them. So Gander Mt. has a big sale so I decide to try a Bushnell Trail Sentry 1.3 MP (2 MP with software enhancement ?) - read some good things on Chasingame. And just to cap it off Gander Mt. also had a Wildview 3.0 MP cam on sale, so what do I do,....buy that too. I need help. Is there a GCA (Game Cam Anonymous)?

I hear what your saying - I can't go into Gander Mountain without looking atthe trail cams. At the present I'm up to 6 cams - 2- 1.3 MP ,1-2.0MP, 2- 3.0MPall Stealth Cams and the most recent is a Trailmac 5.0 MP.
I've had pretty good luck with the Stealth Cams so far and the Trailmacs been good too but I can't seem to get rid of the blue hue it always has with flash pics.
heres the same buck with a 1.3 MP stealth cam.

I see your from the Forks - If you ever stop a Davy's and see a guy with a yellow lab pup in there - its me- look me up and I'll buy ya a cold one.
Good luck with the rest of your season.

Dave,
I do stroll in to the Last Chance Saloon from time to time. I live just up the road. After you buy that drink you can tell me where those big bucks are!!!

That blue hue looks like flash bleed. I have a home brew 35mm that has a little bit of flash bleed and does the same thing if you don't get the cam in there just right. When I say flash bleed I mean the flash is going off and some of the light is making its way down toward the cam lens or lens coverinside the case. Its internally bleeding light in the case. If you can seal that flash off a little better it will go away.

The flash bleed might also be caused by a reflection off of leaves or branches above the camera. Happens on my pics when the wind pushes vines or branches that are normally out of the way to a position near the camera. Now, I look for any branches or vines that might flop down near the camera and trim them.
