Telling the age of a deer?

Telling the age of a deer?
I want to first say that I have been reading this website for quite some time and am rather impressed with the information available. I recently got some pictures on my cam of a buck that has a fairly tall rack for the bucks we normally have around here and I was wondering how you could tell the age of the deer. I see people on here make guesses but what is it that you look for. The first two are of the tall rack buck and the last one is of a larger buck. How old would you say these two bucks are?

Yes, the 1st buck 2.5 and the second 3.5
O.k.
look and the body without a rack a young buck with be thinner
archer back, flat nose (Bridge), no belly and color in face.
a older bucks back will start to sway have a belly, face will start to look romen, a bump will comeup in the bridgeof his nose and his skin will start to look loose after her is 4 year.this is only a few ways to tell age we haven't even looked at the rack! hope it helps!

RE: Telling the age of a deer?
Thanks team rawhide 2 for the info. I get all of these trail cam photos and it is hard toguess the age of a deer just by a photo. It is a loteasier to guess the age of a deer when they are in the back of your truck. Thanks for the advice. Now I have something tostart fromwhen I look at my pics.
